5" Sunday in camp all day trying
    to get my bearings & wear off the
    new.
6" Monday
               Up 5:30, 1" drill 7:30 Got
     started in routine duties.
7" Tuesday
                Impressions of camp life
     very good and duties appeal.
8" Wednesday
                  Catching on to drill fairly
    well, but paper work a "peach"
9. Thursday.
                   Routine work becomes quite
    fascinating. Competitive drill announ
    ced for to-morrow to select Corp's
10" Fri.
     Among the 12 to stand up, so
   appointed Corp.
11" Sat.
       First of holidays. Ditty came.
     Met her at Patten Hotel P.M.
     Staid there.  Mighty glad to see her.
12. Sun.       golf at CC with [Col?]
            About hotel all day [yet?] took
      walk in P.M. Left for Camp 8:30
13. Mon.
              Ditty went to Mrs. 461 Oak St.
      to board. Nothing unusual at Camp.
14 Tues.
           Appointed acting duty serg.

           Routine with Review in P.M.
16" Thurs. Routine. Appointed Right Guide
17" Frid. Routine
18" Sat. In town with D. in P.M.
19" Sun. To Lookout Mt. by incline
           came down surface rout.
