A most pleasing location on

of valley, but no street car or 
railway connections hence
felt rather isolated.
Left Rengedorf 24" V.O. Col. Indall 
spent first night in Sayn at
hotel Krupp.
Moved next day to private
house. nice clean room and
good bed.
Hospt. Co. quartered about
Krupp plant. Office in home
of Supt. Karthauser.
Good mess & dining-room.
Krupp Works here does casting
of large stuff principally, many
big guns cast during war.
The first smelter in Ger. built
1750. - still in use.
Town in very narrow valley -
sides almost precipitous.

A spell of drizzly rainy days
quite cool. overcoat felt good.
