I relaxed around the house today
writing a long letter to Bill and
getting a big kick out of doing
anything so simple as washing
and ironing the handkerchief he gave
me at the station: I have a terribly
empty feeling without Bill and want
to be with him so badly.
We had a Chinese lunch – drove
around with Dad – and then
Gloria came over this evening.
This has been the most perfect
vacation ever – I sure wish I
could live through it all again.
