FEBRUARY 25

1945  We slept late this morning;

and after dinner cleaned

the room and played bridge –

with a little studying squeezed

in between.  Then this afternoon

I went down to the U.S.O. for

a tea dance.  It was a lot of

fun – I met and talked

with Everett (Buddy) Parker

an awfully sweet sailor who’s

stationed at Peary.  We came

back to the house and talked

till after nine.  He’s fun

and seemed to get a lot out

of just sitting in the KD

house.

     We studied more Socialism

this evening – more fascinating

discussions!
