A positively stagnant
day. Elaine, Lou, Dottie and
I went to the Lodge but
otherwise the day passed
uneventfully, except for a
little Flat Hat work.
Elaine and Eleanor had
blind dates with ensigns
– the rest of us stayed
home, better at being
unsmooth – and had
bull sessions on diverse
subjects!
