MARCH 15

1945  A lovely day!  Nothing exciting: -

we just went to classes and

I studied some more Latin America,

but the general atmosphere was

pleasant.

     I got a letter from Bill Brennan

and one written by Bill Boyd

on the boat – also a beautiful

delayed Valentine from him.

     Bob Johnson, an Air Corps

Lieutenant, and a friend, called

this afternoon – and Elaine and

I are going to Finals this

weekend with them.  We’re so

terribly excited – cuz it’s the

big weekend of the year.
