MARCH 24

     Another pleasant day – starting

off with a V-Mail from Bill written

March 14^th in France.  The big final

allied push across the Rhine sounds

tremendous – I hope Bill’s all right!

     I went sunbathing for an

hour in the backyard and then

went Easter shopping and bought

breakfast food with Elaine – along

with some Flat Hat work.

     And then Dottie brought home

an Air Crops Lieutenant she’d met

Sunday in the Wren Building.  Rolet

Hickey – from Panama – He was odd

but a lot of fun.  We had a

smooth dinner at the Travis House

and then came back to the house

and played gin rummy, before he

left for Richmond.

     I received an invitation to the

Mortar Board “Smarty Party”
