A lovely day inspite of the return to
the Billsburg rainy season and study
ing for another Soc. test – my last
till the final fling of exams. –
Chowning’s has been converted
from a beer hall to a cafeteria
style Sandwich Bar; and Lou, Cary
and I went down for supper – a
pleasant change! – This evening
we went to the Modern Dance
Recital, and loved it – as always,
very cleverly done!
I finally got two very
short letters from Bill – he’s
been moving across Germany
and has apparently been in the
thick of it – as he said he
had many experiences to “make
his blood flow faster.” He sounded
awfully tired – bought me a pair
of gloves in Paris. Hope he’s still OK
