JULY 11

     More quiet stuff at home till time to

go to Dr. Eckerson’s this afternoon.  My

appointment was at 2:30, but I didn’t get

to see him till 4:00 – it’s good he has

interesting magazines in his office.

     I had no time to go to the hospital

and had to dash to meet Joanie at

the Eq. building.  We had supper in the

Savarin and then went to the Paramount

to see “You Came Along,” a really

beautiful movie with Robert Cummings

and Elizabeth Scott.  I loved it! – Stan

Kenton and Louis Jordan were there in

person.

     A sweet letter from Bill written

June 6^th - at least he loved me 35
