The morning passed quickly enough,
and then it was time for me to go to
St. John’s for my examination. I’d
dreaded it so, but it turned out to
be much better than I’d expected.
Dr. Duncan found no growth or mal-
formations – just that one of my
organs is under-developed. More
treatments are being scheduled, but
I’ll be all right.
We took Dad’s radio down town to be
repaired and stopped at A&S for me
to give Florence a black jet cap
for her birthday. She seemed honestly
tickled with it!
Back to the hospital where I
played bridge and kibitzed with Dad
and three of the internes. Much fun!
Nana was here today.
