     More of the same --- “Weary er but

still happy, as my experience with

housekeeping and children increases.

I love it good, though.  I doubt if

I’m ready for a steady diet of it.

It’s too big a transition -- yet!

     Julian came over for steak

dinner and later Ann’s brother, George,

with his wife and two children

arrived on the scene.  The house

was swarming with children and

there wasn’t a dull moment but I

got a big bang out of it.

     At 9:33 PM a news flash came which

said the Japs accepted our terms, but

2 minutes later it was reported as

erroneous.  It’s too much to bear –

though I can’t conceive of what a

world-at-peace would be like.
