AUGUST 13
Up at seven again to have
breakfast and then take the
bus back into New York at the
end of a wonderful weekend. I
came right on home, and -- kind
of tired, and nursing a case of
sniffles I crawled into bed
till time to go to the hospital
to find that Dad had walked a
few steps today.
A real short letter from Bill,
still in France April 5th, one
from Johnny, and cards from
Elayne Lear & Colby.
Still no surrender news of a
final nature!
