Since the Happy Girl’s Club meeting
at our house tomorrow is doubling as
a shower for Myrtle, Mother and I
spent the day getting food, a darling
paper watering can as a centerpiece
with smaller ones as favors, napkins,
and the like
We went to the hospital to find
out all about Dad’s penicillin
treatments. I hope they help him!
Gloria and Irene came over
this evening to help with the
shower preparations – we ended up
fooling and talking however.
Two weeks now since I’ve heard
from Bill – The actual time isn’t
long, but it seems I should have
heard by now if he was coming home.
Still – other Pacific bound troops were
rerouted through the U.S. It’s dis-
couragin’!
