The domestic touch raged paramount
as we made sandwiches and the
other refreshments for the shower
tonight. We went to the hospital, and
then back home again for last
minute fixin’s.
The shower was a real success.
Mrs. Hennings and Mrs. Garlinger plus
Marie Egorkin were here besides the
“Happy Girls” and all ran smoothly.
Myrtle received some really lovely
lingerie and seemed genuinely pleased
with everything. We made her hunt
for her gifts through the help of
poem-hints and the whole thing
was grand. Mother did a beautiful
job with it!
