SEPTEMBER 3
This was the last day of my official
capacity as a lazy woman of leisure, for
tomorrow I start in on a career of
sorts. Even now, though I find it hard
to believe that I’m preparing to go to
work instead of throwing things in a
trunk for that annual Billsburg
trip. And so opens a new era!
We really lounged around all day,
just arousing ourselves from our
lethargy enough to go to the hospital.
It hasn’t seemed like Labor Day at
all!
Joanie called to tell us a [glowsy?]
way about how nice it is to have
Tim home again after those years in
Europe. He’s s’posed to look even
better than before, and they seem to
be getting along beautifully. I’m so
happy for them both!
