OCTOBER 11

More beaver like work, with Fleer’s

and a beer survey going on full force.

Joan managed to compliment me on

my work several times too, and

I felt satisfied. – Gloria

Marian and I had lunch in a

Chinese restaurant on 49 Street.

I met Mother, went to Dr.

Duncan’s for another injection

and then home.  Dad seems

in much better spirits tonight.

     I received a sad letter

from Bill Hughes, who seems

rather unhappy with mother-in-

law trouble.  He’s such a

good guy.  I hope his high ideals

materialize into the desired

actualities.

Elaine called at the office ---

seems she hired a forger in her

personnel role for D&B.  Ah well!
