It poured all day; but I
worked steadily on News week survey,
and the time passed quite quickly.
Mother met me in Brooklyn
to take me to Dr. Duncan’s – I’ve
lost 4 more pounds and things
are looking up!
A nice letter from Freddie,
expecting to be home by early
December – and a really
potent one from Bill, full of
talk about the future. A
good guy indeed, but I wonder
