NOVEMBER 22
I still find myself amazed that
this is really Thanksgiving. Though I’d
expected this fall to pass slowly, it’s
surprised me by whizzing by at a fast
[old?] pace. This was a quiet holiday,
and I stuffed myself with a
tremendously delicious turkey dinner.
Jim phoned this morning
and we chatted in gay spirits.
His cheery attitude always per-
severes!
We have so much for which to
be thankful today – the first
peaceful one in six years! If
it only lasts!
