A grim day indeed as Dad’s problem[s]
at Davis and Geck become more and
more complex. His outlook has become
less cheery, as he’s scheduled for an
appointment with the Cyanamid physician
tomorrow. Things are tough all over
A cool letter from Bill didn’t
serve to lift my morale. He seemed
displeased with my slowing down of
correspondence -- warranted -- but I
didn’t expect him to be that cool.
He’s a good guy though -- and knows
how to handle me --- almost too well.
