My physical outlook did improve
somewhat; and as Dad had an
all-day meeting at the Waldorf, Mother
drove us both into New York. – I was
greeted pleasantly at the office, but
didn’t feel too well at all, as my
cough became worse ‘n’ worse. – The
family called for me again at 4:00
and I was glad to leave.
