DECEMBER 14
I was planning to go to work
and then see “Harvey” this evening with
Gloria; but the continuation of my
flu and a new snowstorm kept me
home again. I baked some more
cookies, but stayed in bed most
of the day except for that.
A letter from Jim said he’s
been grounded and stationed at
Clovis, New Mexico. He sounds
bleak. Mrs. Boyd wrote a sweet
note too --- happy that Bill’s coming
home so soon.
