A more-or-less tranquil Sunday,
spent at home again, as the mercury
dropped to new lows, threatening to
reach zero tonight.
Irene stopped by early this
evening and we had a real long
chat. She’s an awfully [nice?] gal.
Sheila and Floppy (in N.Y. for
the weekend) phoned.
Mother and I baked cookies.
