DECEMBER 17
This was a lulu of a day to
end all days. I returned to work,
but the day there was one of con-
fusion and turmoil and I re-
turned home to find everything in
the same state.
The final blow came when I
received a long and very sweet
letter from Bill --- but one which
brought the bad tidings that
his hopes for coming home this
month were a false alarm.
He doesn’t expect to come home
before February again --- if then.
I’m so very disappointed, cuz
I’d hoped this Hello would be
the real thing.
