DECEMBER 20
The aftermath of the snow storm
filtered into a gentle blanket of slush --
in a pleasant sort of way. During
lunch hour, Gloria, Marian and I
scurried around and finally bought
a good looking pin from the whole
department for Joan. The spirit really
is coming fast.
Mother and I met Florence for
a bite of supper at A&S’s Tea
Room. She’s working so very hard in
the pre-Christmas spirit. A grand
gal, she is!
