DECEMBER 21
A lovely day! Inspite of not having
an official party this year at Stewart
Brown, we had a gay time, in merry
mood. Gloria, Marian and I had
lunch and daiquiris at Chez Lina’s;
and then went back to the office
for the pleasant “surprise” of a
bonus from Stewart Brown. At
four, about 20 of us went up
to the Rainbow Lounge and had
a really gay time, sipping rye
and soda until after-six, in true
party in’ spirit. Those people are all
so very grand! – and I love ‘em
good!
Sobering shock came with the
news of General Patton’s death
after his automobile accident
two week ago! A real tragedy!
