and OTHER ASSORTED VITAL DOCUMENTS When a student is selected for membership in the William and Mary Choir by passing the audition, and meeting the qualifications set by the director and the standards established by previous Choirs, he is expected to regard it as both an honor and a privilege and must assume the responsibilities of the Choir unhesitatingly, put forth concentrated efforts and be willing to dedicate himself to maintaining the image, reputation and respect the Choir has won through the years. Any organization with the worth and stature of the Choir is bound to be governed by certain efficient and long considered rules. A student accepting membership in the Choir, then, accepts these governing principles. Failure to conform to these principles, standards, rules and regulations will be sufficient cause for dismissal from the Choir. The William and Mary Choir has established a fine local, statewide, and national reputation, and hence the members must adhere to the regulations in order that this hard-won reputation may be maintained. A student with no loyalty to the Choir, no respect for it, and one who will not pledge himself to these principles, standards, rules and regulations, should not accept membership in the Choir. === an overall appraisal of the student of the contributions to, participation in, dedication to and trustworthiness in the work of the Choir/Chorus ===evidence of satisfactory rate of vocal and musical progress ***ITEM NO. 6 === Dependability, Loyalty, Responsibility === Stress will be continued on discipline, dependableness, loyalty, enthusiasm, responsibility, trustworthiness, integrity, attention to detail, and wholesome attitudes.
